  • -What type of therapy is provided at Communicate to Wellness (CTW)?
CTW provides individual, couple, and family therapy via a telehealth platform that is HIPPA compliant.
  • Do you provide in-person therapy sessions?
At this current time, I do not provide in person therapy sessions. I am aware the telehealth platform is a specific form of conducting therapy sessions. For this reason, not all individuals, couples, and families may be a proper fit for this platform. To ensure the telehealth platform is the best for you and your needs, we will discuss your history, goals, and current concerns during the initial assessment. During this time, I will collaborate with you to determine the most effective way to move forward with sessions; short term goals (STG), long term goals (LTG) or if referrals will be necessary.
  • How are therapy sessions structured at Communicate to Wellness?
First, we will have a 15-minute telephone consultation. Second, we will schedule an initial assessment for 50 minutes. During the initial assessment we will discuss your history, goals, and current concerns. I will collaborate with you to determine the most effective way to move forward with sessions; short term goals (STG), long term goals (LTG) or if referrals will be necessary. Third, we will begin sessions based on the schedule mutually agreed upon by therapist and client. Sessions (no matter the type) will be 50 minutes long in duration. Homework, readings, activities may be given to ensure what was processed in session will be absorbed and utilized throughout the weeks.
  • Do you accept insurance?
No, Communicate to Wellness is an Out-of-Network Provider. Interested in inquiring if your insurance company will cover the cost of sessions even though we are out of network? Please see the following steps to follow up with your insurance: 1. Call your insurance and ask what is my deductible for out-of-network psychotherapy? 2. Ask what is the percent reimbursed back to me after I reach my deductible? 3. Ask how do I submit a receipt when I’m ready to submit? 4. Once you have this information, I can provide you with a receipt that you will submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
